Proposal Meeting
Saratoga County officials met with the negotiation team. They offered nothing different than was previously proposed in the offer previously voted down.
Negotiation Update
The Negotiation Team met with Saratoga County to discuss why the MOA was voted down by the membership.
The Team advised the County what would need to be changed in order for the MOA to be ratified by the membership.
The County listened to our requests and advised that they will review the proposals and respond at a meeting on March 1, 2024.
Contract Expires
The prior contracted expired at the end of 2023. Roughtly 545 Saratoga County workers continue on the job without an contract.
That contract period started on January 1, 2019
New Contract Vote
CSEA members voted against Saratoga County’s proposed terms.
Voting representatives felt the proposed wage increases were inadequate and the increased health insurance contributions were too costly.
